MOCA Opening Event

The Museum of Chinese in America was founded nearly 30 years ago with its goal being "to make Chinese American history accessible to the general public, ranging from scholars to young children, from community members to international tourists."

Back in September 22, they opened at a new location on 215 Centre Street in New York City. I was invited to cover a reception that took place the night before to celebrate the opening (thanks Daria).
