How I'll Remember: My Mom
Canon 30D, 43mm, 1/80 @ f/2.8, ISO 800
I came by my parent's store at the end of the day to catch a ride back home with them. They've worked there for 15 years from 7 in the morning to 7 at night. My dad changed professions from a grocer to a dry cleaner because of the better hours and the six-day work week.
My mom asked me to take a picture of her, and before she was able to strike a pose, I took this picture. Her tired but warm eyes, the subtle grin on her face, and her tousled hair is a very familiar view but one that i wasn't able to capture and cherish until then.
