Margaret + Paul Married

When I entered their hotel room in the morning, everyone was frantically running around looking for a ribbon to tie Margaret's bouquet together.  The florist brought in the wrong bouquet for Margaret, and her bridesmaids were remaking it using the flowers that Paul's parents gave Margaret that morning .  As all this was happening, Margaret showed me a photo of what her dress used to look like before she cut it up and customized it.  By happenstance a week before, her mom found the perfect blazer that completed the look for the five piece dress.

For someone as creative as Margaret, a lot of times what she sees in her head is far from what's in front of her. And to get to where you want to be, it's about being flexible and solving problems all the while being true toi your vision.  Looking back at these images, this wedding was an extension of Margaret and her sensibilities.  There were a thousand moving pieces (literally thousands if you count how much confetti she made) to make it a reality. What came together may not have been perfect, but it was beautiful and one of the most beautiful and thoughtful weddings I've been to. And at the end of the day, as Margaret's arms were around Paul as they watched their slideshow, it was for these quiet, loving moments that everything came together.

Congrats to Margaret and Paul!
